The Richmond, Virginia office of Hunton & Williams, LLP is actively recruiting for a Network Analyst to provide systems engineering, project and management technical support to the Information Center, Applications, and Computer Systems Operations departments as well as the System Administrators in other firm offices. Position will be responsible for managing system integration tasks and projects that impact the server, network and storage infrastructure. |
Qualified candidates will possess a college degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of five years extensive Windows based PC experience with progressively increasing responsibilities and problem solving skills in a Local and Wide Area Network and computer systems operations environment is required. Experience and demonstrated knowledge of data communications concepts and issues (10/100/1000BASETX, DS3, VPN, etc.) desirable. Experience with large Local and Wide Area Networks, VMware ESX/vSphere/SRM, Enterprise Storage (EMC, HP), Cisco fiber channel\Ethernet switch technology is desirable. Certification of training with VMware, Microsoft, EMC, HP desirable.
To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above. Examples include: ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions. Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication.
