As a Network Support Analyst at Latham you will contribute your expertise to lead the daily operations of the San Diego office by supporting the implementation and maintenance of software and hardware solutions for all facets of attorney & staff work. You will report directly to the Manager of Technology of the San Diego office. Your responsibilities as a Network Support Analyst will include applying your management and leadership expertise as well as your ability to develop productive relationships with all levels of our organization to accomplish these and other critical functions:
Maintain a consistent server & network platform according to firm standards for different categories of server functions and hardware, including data servers, Exchange servers, SQL, Blackberry, Disaster Recovery and EVA management servers, and various application servers.
Assist with the operation of San Diego user support to help desk functions; enter tickets, answer calls, handle escalating issues and resolve problems as appropriate; pro-actively monitor, review and resolve issues, alerts and notifications regarding server, network, disaster recovery and storage systems.
Provide design, planning, installation and research input for all relevant technologies and information services; provide regular reports regarding the performance of the server, storage, printing and disaster recovery systems; create technical, procedural and report documentation as required.
Support and maintain all relevant technology platforms and information services; provide support for additional technology and information services as assigned and/or adequately trained for, including but not limited to Cisco IP Telephony, IP and ISDN videoconferencing, Active Directory maintenance and management, Exchange server maintenance and management and network printing.
Assist with support of desktop hardware and software, including desktop and notebook computer deployment, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance, as well as Windows and desktop application troubleshooting.
Required Experience & Qualifications

You must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field - equivalent work experience can be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. An ideal candidate should have five (5) years of progressive computer systems management and support experience; five (5) years of installing and maintaining Windows 2000/2003/2008, Active Directory, Enterprise backup systems and storage networks; five (5) years experience with Windows desktop operating systems and a wide variety of applications, including Microsoft Office; two (2) years experience installing, maintaining and supporting disaster recovery and high availability systems for MS server operating systems; three (3) years experience with LAN/WAN networking; and one (1) year experience working with technology in the Legal industry. Experience with the following platforms and applications is preferred, but not required: Blackberry, Treo & iPhone enterprise setup and configuration, APC rackmount UPS, HP EVA, Altiris, Interwoven, Cisco IP phone Call Manager and Voicemail administration, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, configuring, maintaining, and operating IP and ISDN videoconferencing equipment, Interaction, Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap, Lexis/Nexis, and Westlaw. You will be the primary point of contact 24/7 when there are problems with San Diego office servers or networking.
